Getting a License Key

Purchase Process

  1. Visit the Chatbox AI Pricing Page
  2. Choose the plan that suits you
  3. Complete payment
  4. Your License Key will be sent to your email

Email Delivery

  • After successful payment, License Key is usually sent to your email within a few minutes
  • Please check your spam folder
  • Email subject is typically "Your Chatbox AI License"

Activating Your License

Activation Steps

  1. Open the Chatbox app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Select Chatbox AI under "AI Provider"
  4. Enter your License Key
  5. Click Activate

Successful Activation

After successful activation, you'll see:

  • Current plan type
  • Remaining quota
  • Expiration date

License Recovery

If you forgot or lost your License Key:

  1. Visit the License Recovery Page
  2. Enter the email address used for purchase
  3. Click send
  4. Check your email for the License Key

If you still can't recover it, please contact customer support.

Device Limits

Usage Limits

  • Each License Key can be used on up to 5 devices simultaneously
  • Device types include: computers, phones, tablets

Device Management

If you need to use on a new device:

  1. Sign out of Chatbox AI on the old device
  2. Enter the License Key on the new device to activate

Exceeding Device Limit

If you see a device limit exceeded message:

  • Check if unused devices are still logged in
  • Sign out on devices you no longer need
  • Try activating again

License Status

Check Status

In Chatbox settings, you can view:

  • License type (Lite/Pro/Pro+)
  • Expiration date
  • Remaining quota
  • Number of activated devices

FAQ

Can I share my License Key?

Not recommended. License Keys are for personal use only. Sharing may cause device limit conflicts and account security issues.

How do I transfer my License to a new computer?

No transfer needed. Simply enter your License Key on the new computer to activate. Just don't exceed the 5 device limit.

Will my account be locked after multiple incorrect entries?

No lockout, but make sure to copy the complete License Key to avoid missing characters.

Can I subscribe to multiple plans at once?

You can purchase multiple Licenses, but each Chatbox client can only activate one License.
